“After promptly selling our colonial home in July, 2013, we began looking for a ranch style home that met our current needs. The market was saturated with colonials in the area we wanted to live. We found ourselves in quite a dilemma. Despite our apprehension, we came to the conclusion that it was desirable to build. During an internet search, we came across one of your homes located in Boulder Pointe. While the subdivision and model was very appealing, the construction including the lot size was too large. Then we identified Wolverine Estates as a potential location. We visited your Laura model at Partridge Creek and immediately knew this was exactly the one we desired. We loved the openness and convenience of each section. We met Margie to begin the process. She was very helpful and patient throughout the process. We are sure that we didn’t make it very easy for Margie at times, but she always smiled and was very friendly and accommodating. As Margie transitioned into another opportunity with your company, Erin was always eager to help us as we visited the model frequently, whether to take measurements or consider interior decorating and design ideas. She was also extremely knowledgeable, professional and offered constructive suggestions. As construction began, we visited the house regularly to see its progress. During our visits, we met many of the contractors. MJC’s selection of contractors is commendable. We found them to be experienced, professional and courteous while completing their job in a quality manner. While living in our house for about two years, we only found insignificant items that needed our attention and were not builder’s negligence. Also during our visits we had the opportunity to meet John and Dewey. They managed the work orders sequence effectively and efficiently and worked with the contractors to ensure quality standards were being met. While Dewey was at the house frequently, on several occasions, John met us at the house to ensure we were pleased with the work that was about to occur. They took care of the smallest details. Based on our observations, it seemed like there were minimal issues with the Township inspectors, again a sign of MJC’s quality building practices. They consistently took a personal interest to address our concerns, so much so that when it came time for our walk through, we had very minor modifications. John and Dewey were so attentive; it almost seemed that they were building our home for themselves. We could not say enough about how accommodating and good-natured they were. We have received many compliments from our friends and acquaintances who have visited us and some of them have even considered building an MJC house. We would like to thank MJC and all of your staff and contractors for building our “dream” house. ”

“Grace, Anna, Nancy, Marty and the entire team at MJC did a magnificent job helping us throughout the entire process of building the home of our dreams. Since Day 1 of "accidentally" finding the perfect subdivision for our family, we were treated like family. Grace helped us with picking the perfect model to raise our family in and throughout each step along the way. She provided us space to consider our options, no pushy sales tactics or crazy deadline forcing us to make quick decisions. She has a lot of patience, great sense of humor, and always prepared us for what's next. Marty was responsive to our requests and didn't push-back with timing or quality of workmanship. We're happy to say this is the 2nd house we have build thru MJC and can't wait to move in knowing the care, hard work, and attention to detail that the entire MJC team put into making this dream come true for our family. We're so excited to meet the neighbors, enjoy the pool, and start the next chapter in our new home this Summer. Thank you all for the wonderful experience! ”

“Dawn, I want to thank you for your help last Saturday. This wasn't even your responsibility but you understood our concern regarding the detectors and went above and beyond to connect us with help. Phil contacted us on the same day and helped us make contact with MJC's electrician. Fortunately, the alarms stopped and did not go off again before Phil and Scott were able to get here on Monday. It turned out to be a faulty switch that caused the breaker to keep flipping (as it should've given the switch) and the alarms to keep beeping (as they should've with the electric off). Scott was able to easily change the switch and problem solved. Anyway, the point of this is to express gratitude to you for taking the time to help connect us where we needed to be. I felt bad calling you for advice because I knew it wasn't your responsibility but did not know anyone else to ask for advice on what to do on a weekend for help that was considered urgent. You, Phil and Scott were great! So kudos and appreciation to you! Thank you for being available! ”

“I would like to send you an email regarding how helpful Eric has been with any issues we have come across with the condo we purchased here at Boulder Pointe. He gave me his personal number and replied instantly each time we had an issue. It is the holiday weekend and Eric took time out of his schedule to help us out and fix the air conditioner that had not been working. The circuit board at the back of the unit was not hooked up and he told us how to go about fixing it. We now have air! He also will be out this week to help us fix the closet door for our water heater that was not installed properly. He is a great asset to have for your company. I hope you are really happy that he is a part of your team! ”

“Just a quick note to let everyone know what a great experience it was for John and I purchasing a condo in Stoneridge at Heritage Village. We loved the fact that one model had all the standard options and the other model had the "extras". It was so helpful to be able to compare both. Mary Jo in the sales office was very friendly and helpful. We had lots of interaction with her and she was always a pleasure to deal with. We also dealt with Nino, the construction supervisor. He was also fantastic and answered all our many questions. During the walk thru he explained all the necessary information regarding our new home. John and I feel that the trades used for construction were well qualified and detail orientated. The condo is certainly well built. Much better than our previous home. My husband John has been in construction his entire life as an electrician and knows quality when he sees it. ”
